When you email us or request a conversation, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you choose to share, such as your role, organization, the challenge you are navigating, or a resume. We use this only to respond and, where relevant, to provide our services.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, we use RB2B, a visitor identification service, to learn which companies and, for visitors in the United States, which individuals are browsing our site, so we can follow up with relevant information. RB2B is a tracking technology that sets first-party cookies and may collect identifying information. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operations. See "Cookies and tracking" below for the cookies we use and how to opt out.
Scheduling
If you book a conversation through our scheduling tool, that provider processes the details you submit in order to confirm the meeting, under its own privacy terms.
Phone and text communications
When you share your phone number with us, or when we exchange numbers in the course of a search or engagement, we use it to call and text you about your inquiry, interview and search coordination, advisory and development work, and scheduling. We use Ringover, a telephony and messaging provider, to place and receive those calls and messages on our behalf.
Our texts are conversational and service related. We do not run mass marketing text campaigns. Message frequency varies with what we are working on together, and message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. Opting out of texts does not affect calls or email. Full details are in our Messaging Terms.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as email, scheduling, visitor identification (RB2B), analytics, telephony and messaging (Ringover), and hosting, and only as needed, or when required by law.
